Can you please offer some suggestions if the Before After image slider is not showing at all, it only displays the two images that were selected? I've checked that Divi & WP are up-to-date, and I've tried putting the slider code in the page and then in the header. The actual slider shows when in Edit Mode in Divi, but when I Exit the Visual Builder it only shows the images one above the other. I also tried different browsers - Safari & Chrome but to no avail.

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.

    Kind regards,
    Jonathan

It was just suggested to me that the code is written for Wordpress' Twenty Twenty theme and not Divi, and that could be the reason it is not working. Is that correct, and if so, can you please provide the code for the Divi theme?

Try to enable this option & see if it works: WP Admin > Divi > Theme Options > General > Performance > Enqueue Jquery Compatibility Script > Enable

Thanks for the suggestion. However, it's already enabled along with all of the other options in there except "
    Defer Additional Third Party Scripts
" and it's not working still.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I assume it works for others with the latest Divi theme? I don't have any other plugins that would interfere, it's a new site.

Yup. It seems to work just fine on our demo site (latest Divi version).

What if you enable this option as well & see if it works: Defer Additional Third Party Scripts

If still not working, try to disable Defer jQuery option & see if it works.

If all the above doesn’t help, then kindly try to export the Before After slider again from Divi Block & re-import it & see if it works.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestions, I tried them all - enabling/disabling those options, re-importing the block, clearing the cache, and nothing has changed. I can see the slider when in Visual Builder mode but after exiting the images are simply shown one above the other.

I doubled-checked what's installed and it's only the theme Divi v4.12.1 on Wordpress 5.8.1 with no plugins, and I'm testing on Safari v15 and Chrome 95.0.4638.69. I also asked my host (Flywheel) if something on the server is interfering and they said no.

Please suggest anything else you can think of, your slider that I purchased is perfect for the application that I needed for.

NOTEWORTHY: I just imported it into another site of mine that is just Divi with no plugins on the same server with the same browsers and it worked! The only difference is the Divi version is 4.9.7 which doesn't have the Performance options to enable/disable. THEN I updated Divi to v4.12.1 and it doesn't work!! Please test on your end and advise.

Okay I'm not sure what I may have done differently from what I've already explained, but I imported the same .json and have to DISABLE: Defer jQuery And jQuery Migrate under Options > Performance and this time it's working with Divi v4.12.1.

Maybe you're working on something on your end? It would be good to know what was the problem. Either way, I'm happy that it seems to be working now.

Nope. Nothing was done on our side. Perhaps it's because you're moving the code around & there's some mistakes occurred. Thus, I suggested you to re-import it.

Previously, there's issue with the Defer jQuery option (when it's first introduced), but ElegantThemes already fixed it on later versions.
**But if the Defer jQuery still doesn't work for you, then you will have to disable it.

We've updated our demo site to the latest Divi version 4.13.0 & it seems to work just fine. You may check it here: https://diviblock.com/divi-before-after-image-slider/
**We enabled all the performance options, except for Dynamic Icons.

Though, I'm glad that it works for you now. Let me know if you still have any other questions.
