Contact Form Submission - Reply-to sends to my email, not sender's email

Hello there, I'm trying to figure this out for a client.

She had someone submit a contact form, but when she tried to reply to the message, it doesn't autopopulate to the sender email address, it just sends it to her own address (Mail@heremailaddress.com). We're trying to find the actual sender email in order to reply, but can't find it anywhere.

How do we find the email address the sender submitted?

For your mail, if you click reply, then you should be able to see that it's replying to the actual sender email.

If you want the email address to be included in the body of the email content, then you will have to use the contact form message pattern: https://intercom.help/elegantthemes/en/articles/2837733-how-to-use-the-contact-form-message-pattern

You listed what it should do, the OP is saying it is not working that way. I'm having the same issue. A site with multiple forms. On some of the emails, clicking reply will send it to the person that sent the message, on other forms, it inserts the original recipient, not sender.

There is no difference between the forms, and there's no "reply to" anywhere in the contact form builder interface. How is the "reply to" specified?

    Thanks.

Supposedly, the "reply to" is automatically taken from the Email input field.

If it doesn't work as expected, you may try to update Divi to the latest version & clear your cache & see if it works.

If still not working, then you may refer to official Divi support & see what they say: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/
