Trying to get specific post categories to show up in the Divi Post Navigation Module.
If I don't attempt to define something, it will also pull from parent categories.

If I try to enter some variation of a taxonomy, then it shows nothing at all, and Divi doesn't supply a template for what is supposed to go there.
Seems like it should be a really simple thing, but it's wasting my time trying to fumble around with it.

    Any tips?
    Thanks!

You can just ignore the Custom Taxanomy Name. It's used for custom post types.

For your issue, try to deselect parent category from your blog posts. Just need to select the child category & save it.

Yeah, I figured that would work, but the problem is that the parent category pages, which include the blog feed module, will then NOT include those posts.
I suppose, for those feed modules, I could simply select the child categories, instead of the parent.

The problem, there, though, is that, for every new child category, I would have to go back to EACH parent page, and add those children to the blog feed module.
I guess that's not a super huge deal, but it is kind of a hassle, when I should just be able to have one parent feed for those pages.

    Meh... thoughts?
    Thanks...

Even if you only select child category for the single blog post, it will still show in the 'parent category' blog feed module. You can try it from your side.

    Nice!
I believe you, and that's a real game-changer for the posts, but unfortunately, I don't have much of a way to test it, because the parent pages are actually pages, not posts.

So, this IS a situation where we would need to use the custom taxonomy field, because the pages do not have post category associations.
I tried this: /category/tips/health-tips/drink-tips/energy-drink-tips/ --- type of structure, but it's not working.

What you suggested should work on the posts, so thanks for that, but it won't work on the category pages.
    Any tips? Thanks! :)

Maybe I don't actually NEED post navigation on the category pages, though.
Maybe it's best to just have a larger blog feed grid, and subcategories, or something like that.

I think I'm good to go.
    Much thanks! :)
