I removed the full structure of design 6 and created a header section just for the desktop. It is set to hidden on mobile.

When the mobile pages are loaded, I see the coloured icon loading on the mobile page and then it disappears and the page is rendered. It is very distracting.

Is there a way to not load the header on the mobile since the default divi mobile menu kicks in anyways?

It does show up only when the internet is a little slow, the the main header for desktop loads, you can see the image flash for a second and then the mobile page loads and displays.

I have tried the CSS fixes, that did not help. Preloaded will cause new issues including the client to frown, will try it tomorrow.

But there has to be a cleaner way to disable the header section on the mobile. This is because the mobile page does not need the plugin to load the header at all in such cases.

It's there any code that I can override on the backend? Just thinking loud here...

You could try the below CSS in either Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS or your child theme style.css:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
If it still didn't work, then you might want to try PHP injection method.

Try the below code in your child theme functions.php:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
Just put it at the end of your child theme functions.php.

The fix in functions.php seemed like the perfect solution for not loading it at all and it worked well. Thanks much.
