Solved Footer breaking CSSigniter site

Hi,

I'm trying to use the footer plugin on a CSSIgniter theme, using the Divi Builder. When I select a footer, the site breaks as can be seen here:

I have contacted the theme support who can't isolate the problem. We temporarily activated a different theme and the same thing happened. I'd really like to be able to use the footer plugin here, any help is appreciated, thanks.

 

hi - see image. I dont have a Divi > Theme Options > Integration > Body Code

 

Tried that - there is no where to add code in in the Plugin options.

I'm just using the Divi Builder, as opposed to the Divi theme obviously because I'm using the Speciality CSSIgnitor theme.

OK - the advice from the theme developer was to install the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/

I then added the code above to the footers section of that plugin, and it works now. Thank you.

 

Any idea why the footer might not be centred on these secondary pages?

OK - so the footer has broken again. I updated WP, the Insert Header & Footer plugin as well as the Divi Builder, and now the code you gave me above doesn't work:

I have tried deactivating and reactivating differnet plugins, and nothing I do will make the footer work. Could you help? Thank you.

 

I'm trying different header/footer insert code plugins to see if that works, and nothing is working.

 

I am getting this message on the bottom right of the page editor if that makes a difference...

 

OK that extra code makes the footer work, thank you. However, it seems as tho the footer plugin is breaking the page editor. See image. When I deactivate the footer plugin, it reappears.

 

That worked, thank you. When I got to a normal page, I can edit it with the Divi wireframe builder. However - how do I edit the footer now? When I got to DU Footer Library, and edit the footer I want to use, it just does this: (see photo)
