Divi builder broken after a website transfer

    Hi,

    I am having issues with the divi builder after an webhosting change, everything has successfully been transfered and Divi is enable on the website, but when i want to activate the divi builder i can't customize anything.

    Thanks if you know how to fix it, and sorry about my terrible english :D

    I just have something like a default display but without the tools like section or Divi's element of the visual builder[​IMG]

    Maybe should i reinstall Divi ?because of the migration

    Meaning when you enabled Visual Builder, you only see your page design without any builder option?

    That's weird. You might want to delete the Divi theme & re-install it. Or you can just update Divi to the latest version & clear your cache & see if it works.

    Yep that's it, maybe something is wrong because of the new database has a different prefix than before so maybe the installation isn't good.
    I have the last version of Divi, and already tryied to clear my cache.
    If i delete Divi and re-install it, will my pages being affected? (terrible english so sorry)

    Re-install / update Divi will not affect your pages. But if the issue is with the database, re-install / update Divi will not help.

    If re-installing / update DIvi doesn't fix the issue, then it's best for you to refer official Divi support about it & see what they say.

    Hi Marie, yes i've find the answer, sorry about not updating the thread, i've fixed the issue. My problem was from my database, the prefixes of the tables was wrong, so check it out, my new host has some default prefixe for the databases.

    I hope it will fix your problem

    I tried changing the prefixes but it completely deleted divi on my website. I then rolledback the previous version of divi, and it worked !!!

    Maybe it is too late but I hope I can help others who wants to carry their DIVI sites from one domain to other one...I had all of the issues above and after got nuts, I found the solution guys....Thanks to "Duplicator"...Just watch the video and follow the instructions...Your perfect Divi Site goes to the new address seamlessly....
