Solved Make accordion default to closed

I use the standard Divi Accordion for my daily hours/pricing, so I have a different tab for each day of the week. With Monday being the top tab, when I load my web page the Monday tab is open by default, while the others are closed. This is an issue because if people access my website on any day other than Monday.

For example, when a customer accesses my website on a Friday, they don't always notice that the open tab is actually hours/pricing for Monday. Is there a way to default all tabs to being closed so they have to choose a day?

Better yet, is it possible to have it open a certain tab based on the day of the week?

  2. I, too, have noticed this. After a lot of looking, and trying, I was unable to find a solution that didn't require editing the core code (which I don't like to do). I decided to use the toggle module instead. You can select to keep them open or closed by default.

I agree, I'm not one for changing the core code, either.

Thanks for your suggestion about the toggle module instead as I may go that route at some point. For the time being, I just created an additional accordion tab that is titled "Daily Rates" and then says, "Choose a day below to see our daily rates." So it defaults to that instead of Monday which now requires the customer to take action.

  5. I tried that (not the code - just the module edit) about two updates ago and it wasn't working... maybe it's fixed?

Tried the jQuery code & seems to work just fine.
