Solved Gallery Module Images Different Sizes

Hi everyone! Bit a newbie here to Divi. Loving it so far, but….

I’m trying to add photo’s to my site via the Gallery Module. I’ve followed along exactly as the video by Elegant Themes () has shown because it’s exactly how I want my images to appear (4 across, 2 rows and no spacing and all images/thumbnails the SAME SIZE). But the images have come out different sizes on my site (see attached image). I’ve tried contacting support at Elegant Themes but I don’t think the guy understood what I was asking. He said that I’d have to add code in functions.php to make it how I want it, but all the videos I’ve watched about using Gallery Module, inc. the one mentioned above, make no mention of using code; all the images are automatically the same size when they are inserted into the page.

Any insights/help would be gratefully received!

    Many thanks,

    Jim :)

    Hello,

This problem lies on the inappropriate image size. This is only a guess from me as I have not seen your website yet.

my recommendation is to use images in same size. in that manner, All the images will be properly aligned. secondly, you can use sizing settings but your images will be stretched.

Hope this will be helpful for you.

    Thanks

Hi Sha, thanks for the reply :)

Sorry, it may have helped if I’d provided the link (the gallery in question is about a quarter of the way down): https://mariongeesonphotography.co.uk/

I thought it’d be a matter of course that all the thumbnails would be the same size or at least you’d be able to make them so. I fully understand that they’d be cropped. As I say, all the videos I’ve seen have the images appear on the page the same size. The following vid is one of them as you can see at 1min 30 secs in, though I know the sizes are not greatly different.

I just know it’ll be really time consuming and kinda difficult to make all of the photographers images the same as there’s going to be much cropping going on which, as a photographer, I’m guessing you wouldn’t want.

Anyway, thanks again for your input :)
