Need tools not available in the standard modules, I think

Hi,

I used elementor pro for a few years but they priced me out. I am used to the possibilities I used there, and am trying to redo my sites with Divi, and I have a few things I want to do and it is not clear to me how (I am not a coder). I am looking for modules that do things like the following:
For example, a section (or row or 1/2-1/3 row and so on) with a photo background that can be set at a capacity of my choice, such as 40% or whatever, and on this background, I want text and call to action, (or something else ideally) but at 100% opacity ON TOP of the faded opacity photo background. But I also need other things like a sticky menu at the page top, preferably that can also hide and change size on scrolling, There are a few more things, but for now......

Now, a lot of this was done on elementor pro with plug-ins that also cost, so I have nothing against purchasing something, but I do need to stay budget-conscious, I do not do this professionally, I build websites for my band and my small travel business.

I googled some things I want to do and found ways to customize the code or add .css but I cant really do that. I mean I can copy and paste a code but if I can use the visual editor to do these things I would be much happier......

Any tools or add-on packs that anyone can suggest would be welcome to know.
