    Hi,

I've been having UI glitches, occasionally, in general, but especially for my main Blog page.
    Link: https://getivan.com/tips/

I need n immediate fix for this.
I'm pretty confident that it is a conflict between a recent Divi Update, and this Child Theme.

I can only make certain changes to this page.
The Blog Feed Module is set to "Grid", but it's showing as Full-Width.

Also, the Post Slider isn't even showing up.
I've cleared the cache, looked at other browsers, etc, but nothing is working.

Please watch my attached video, and let me know what I need to do to get this fixed.
It seems like You guys should be pushing automatic updates to Divi Ultimate to fix these kinds of things, as I can't imagine I'm the first person to encounter this problem.

    Thanks,
    Ivan

It's because you set that page as 'Posts Page'. You just need to go to Settings -> Reading -> set Posts Page as empty. See screenshot below:

Wow, I dunno if I would've ever figured that out.
That seems like the exact opposite of what you're supposed to normally do, right?

Aren't we SUPPOSED to set the correct post page?
I guess what it's doing is overwriting the /tips page with some sort of default category feed?

I don't see why some changes would work, though, and some wouldn't.
Mind is a little blown by this contradiction... :p

Thought for sure that it was Child Theme related, but I guess I jumped the gun, once again! >.<
Apologies, and thanks for the fix!

Yup. If you set it to be Posts Page, then it will be overwritten by the default archive template & no changes can be made on that page.

You would think that they would overwrite the default slug structure, of a feed, with whatever page you are telling them, which is what I thought it did, but they made it do the exact opposite.
Why would you want to explicitly define a URL for a default feed that already exists as /category/tips/, for example?

That just doesn't make sense, to me.
They should make it either customizable, or overwritable.

That's confusing, and I dunno how I've gone all these years, and not noticed how it works.
I've set that area on MANY sites, and never had this issue, before. Crazy! :O

    Anyways, thanks for your Support.
You can close this thread. :)
