Header plugin + Powerful Child?

    Have just bought and installed Powerful and Header and Footer plugins and have a couple of questions:

    1\ If I install Powerful Child, do I also need the header and footer plugins and JSONs?

    2\ I saw on this thread about using a Custom Mobile Menu but I don't quite understand the instructions, could you expand?

    3\ Does using the header settings override the normal logo settings in Divi Theme Options? It seems so. I just change the image on the correct layout in the Divi Header Library?

    1. Nope. You won't need that. Those header / footer features & json file are already included in the Divi Powerful Child Theme. Those standalone plugins are meant to be used on Divi sites that doesn't use Divi Powerful Child Theme.

    2. For custom header feature: Originally in mobile, we will revert back to use the default Divi header, so that you can choose to have slide in / fullscreen menu in mobile. But that member asked, since we can swap different header / menu on per page basis, but the mobile menu (default Divi header) still remain the same. That's why we created this premade Custom Mobile Menu Divi Library item for him to add in any premade header styles & it will replace the default Divi mobile menu with the one created with Divi Builder. So that, he can choose which menu to be shown in mobile using the menu module settings.

    3. In desktop, it will replace it with the one built in Divi Library. But in mobile, as I mentioned in no. 2, it will revert back to use the default Divi menu. And so in mobile, it will use the normal logo settings in Divi Theme Options.

    2 - I still don't quite understand. I've uploaded the JSON to the library but I can't seem to add it as an element. Could you provide step by step instructions or refer me to documentation?

    You just need to go to edit premade header style in Divi Library & add new section -> Add From Library -> select Custom Mobile Menu.
    **See screenshot below.

    Then just drag the premade mobile menu section to the top & set your desired mobile menu in the menu module settings.
