Solved Internet Explorer and Footer Links / Update from 5.0.1

    I just found a support post here about non-clickable footer links on Internet Explorer if the parallax effect is enabled. i checked the version of https://www.motionist.com and just saw it is v5.0.1 – can i jump to 8.0.0 to fix this issue or do i have to upgrade all other versions first?

    **You can just skip the .json file if you don't need the new vertical navigation header design.

    It seems like our revealing footer doesn't work in IE only. Will need to check further.

    indeed .. i just updated everything - DU, Divi and all PlugIns. Cleaned Cache etc. but it is still not working on IE.
    i really want to save the parallax design of the footer. it is very nice feature. what you think? how can we solve it?

    Try to re-download & re-install Divi-Ultimate-Plugin.zip for v8.0 & see if it works: https://divi.help/threads/divi-ultimate-v8-0-0.2319/#post-7254

    **Apparently, IE doesn't work with negative z-index. So we applied other fixes for that.

    just updated it - its works fine on the machine i have here to test. thank you for this fast fix! i will report it to our client who found the IE-bug this morning. nice work guys! i let this ticket open until i have the feed back in 12-15 hours from my client who has more than one machine with IE Browsers, that he can test it on several machines. i will close the ticket when he find nothing tomorrow.
