Solved 8.0.1 not compatible anymore with Superfly SOS Simple Overlay Solution

You guys must have changed something with your Footer Reveal Effect. WP is Up2Date but Divi is rolled back now to 3.28. Divi Ultimate rolled back to 8.0.0 ... why:

i am using Superfly SOS Overlays and the Reveal Footer of Ultimate without any issues until today when i made all updates. with the old versions (at the top of this ticket) its no problem - everything works fine. but when i update Divi (latest security ppdate) i need to update Ultimate to 8.0.1 because the menu is gone - but this will knock out the SOS Overlays. They will not load anymore. They will not work as well if i deactivate your footer completely.

The screen turns dark but no overlay is shown - but i can see the footer behind the transparent dark background of the overlay.

can you please check your version 8.0.1. i need to use overlays on many websites but i still want use Ultimate Child Theme. Both must be compatible. it is the same issue with "Divi Overlays" by Tim Striffer and i was very happy in past to find an overlay what works fine with Divi Ultimate Child Theme.

why i address this to you is simple. overlays are a normal feature on websites and i think you need to take care with your footer parallax effect (reveal) that standard overlays by Tim or Superfly still work. i am not sure what you and divi changed with the latest updates but overlays are not compatible with it.

imo the overlays are "behind the background" of the website and came up by click on a trigger. same with the footer - the footer is behind the website. it is a conflict you already had solved with old versions but it is back now.

may i ask you to have a look what changed?
