Solved Different header on some pages

Is it possible to have a different header on my home page to the others?

The reason for the question is this: I have a semi-transparent header background that looks great on the home page which has an image. However, it doesn't work on other pages. I thought I had fixed it by adding a section with a solid cloured ground, it does work until you scroll and then the solid background moves up of course.

Any ideas?

Yes, using the Theme Builder to create templates! I hadn't got round to exploring this and as it ddin't have the word template in the menu item it hadn't dawned on me that this is what I need.
