Hi all. So I'm working on a new website As part of it I am using the Divi Post Slider, I want to include the Date Metadata but not author and comments, but I can either turn Meta on or off, I cant select which part of meta to keep or not keep. Is there a way to hide the author and comments?

You can see the mock up at http://mountjoy.icts.website

    Thank you in advance.

I made a CSS hack for you to hide them. Try the below CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.

Try to additionally add the below CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS to add a divider in between your author & category:

This is awesome - thank you. I tried the CSS from the first post, but notice that the Category still comes up. Is there a way to also eliminate the category? I only want the date to appear. Thank you!

    thank you for this.
This works perfectly for Desktop, but mobile is still showing all of the meta:

I'll experiment with some CSS to try and fix (my CSS is not great) but if you have any thoughts about what needs to be added to cover all views, I would be appreciative

    You're welcome, Jake,

Were you able to get this sorted?

The CSS should apply to all views as is, and I can see the post meta (other than date) is now hidden on mobile.

If you still see the post meta on mobile, try clearing your mobile device's browser cache to ensure you're seeing the latest version of the page.

The only issue I can see now is that the post slider text is white on a white background. If you need any help with that, give us a shout.

    Hi -
the additional meta still shows on mobile after I cleared all the various caching things. The text goes back to the proper color, but still have extra meta on Mobile.
    Weird

Yeah, strange... I still see the same as before. Here's a screenshot (with text selected so that it is visible):

    eelriver.png

I believe I'm seeing the latest version from the server as I have browser caching disabled. Same thing on iPhone and desktop (resized to mobile width).

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place?
