DIVI Theme building cannot save

    Hey divination,

I'm trying to add a new template for one of my category pages. After I finish editing my page, save my template and click on "save all changes" inside the Divi theme builder page & then refresh my page my newly created template is removed/unsaved.

This is very frustrating as I have tried to save this template several times and its keeps disappearing after I have saved it.

I did recently update to a new version, so I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue?

I have attached an image where you can clearly see the created template before and after saving & refreshing my page.

    Kind regards,
    Lauwrens

I have the same exact issue except the maximum number of templates I can have is 5. So if I create the 6th one, save, navigate away from the theme builder page and then come (essentially a refresh) the newly added one is gone! Any help is appreciated.

    Hey Ed,

Thanks for taking you time to respond to my post.

I still have not found a solution to this issue.

One thing I noticed is that it happens at the end of a new row. This might have something to do with it?

Let me know if you find anything.

    Thanks!

Hi. Had the same issue and found no official solutions. I had to delete all templates since the main one (1st one) that affects all the site, moves form the first position to the next I think is also part of the bug and also the footer template was pulled from the library, it had a green border on the editor (not blue or orange). I'm giving you all these details just so you have more info. If you have content pulled form Library try Copy module and use a fresh Section. I had to re do all the templates, a lot of work, but It works fine now. Try copying modules on fresh Sections and Rows so you don't build everything from scratch. Hope this helps.

I remember having the same problem some time ago in one client hosting provider.

If the memory does not fail me I solved it by increasing the limit of the variables that the DIVI uses (post_max_size, etc ...) but don't remember if i did this in cPanel or in the .htaccess.
