    Hello,

    It took me forever to figure out why a 1px white border was added to all of my shop modules. Finally tracked it down to divi ultimate. just have the plugin installed on my site. I found a way to remove that, by adding this .woocommerce ul.products li.product, .woocommerce-page ul.products li.product {
    border: none;
    }

    but is there any other way to prevent it from making changes like this to my site?

    That's the default style for our child theme woocommerce product.

    By default, it looks like this:

    After using our child theme & assistant plugin, it will look like this with border.

    The reason why we do that for product lists is because you will need to use hard coded CSS to style the shop page ( https://diviultimate.com/shop/ ) & so we style the shop module as well using CSS to make it coherent. For most part of the woocommerce elements, we added our own custom CSS to style it (part of our child theme offering).

    Apart from woocommerce elements, I believe that others won't affect your site like this.

    I have my own child theme that is utilizing the DU plugin. I also added the above css to my child theme css as !important to make the border not appear. I don't want to modify the DU plugin code since any future updates would revert those changes. Is there a better way to achieve this?

    Yup. The best way to override it is through custom CSS in child theme style.css or Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS.

    Yeah, that is what i figured. I am not very comfortable with putting CSS there and would much rather add it in the child theme css file as part of the repository.
