Has anyone installed XML sitemap on WordPress and had problems on Search Console?

    I have just added the XML Sitemap plugin on WordPress, and and then disabled XML sitemap on Yoast, but I am still getting the error "
    Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.
    Line: 2"

    The plugin states it hhas not been tested with my theme, Divi Builder, so does anyone think thats what the problem is?

    Can anyone please help?
