    Hey,

    I would like to have the main menu on top of my site transparent only on the first page.
    I set the main menue background to white using the theme customizer.

    When I use the following css code for one specific page it works fine:

    #main-header {
    background: red;
    }

    but I would like to have something like

    #main-header {
    background: transparent;
    }

    but this doesn't work. The background color remains white.

    Can you give me a hint what to do here?

    ok, after using google and trying it out for a while I guess I found the solution. Just place this code to the page you need the effect:

    #main-header {
    background-color: transparent;
    box-shadow: 0 0 0 rgba(0,0,0,.1);
    }

    #page-container {
    padding-top:0px!important;
    }
