Make Video Module fill the column / change column breackpoint

I am looking for help regarding two issues both related to the handling of columns. Unfortunately after hours of trial and error and a lot time spent on google I couldn't come up with a valid solution.

1. I want the tiles with the Video Module and Video Slider Module in it to always be filled completely like the Blurb Modules next to it. So it's about disabling the aspect ratio for the video to behave like a column background.
I am going to disable the controls and make it autoplay loop anyway. Any hints about that would be greatly appreciated as well.

In case of a single video, adding it as a column background (the banana video) and some custom css "height: 500px;" to match the other tiles/columns probably does the job. However, the round borders get a ugly dark stroke, don't know why. It has nothing to do with the video itsself.

2. I want the columns to break earlier than the usual tablet viewport would force them to, to avoid them getting to tall/slim.

I am also considering a plugin, but until now I could not find anything regarding modern grid capabilities handling different content types. Any suggestions are very welcome.

I made some Videos, maybe it helps, maybe not.

First one is about the columns getting way to slim/thin/tall before they actually break from 4 columns to 2.


The other two videos show, how the Video module always keeps its apsect ratio, also compared to a video used as a column background. Aside from not being able to have a video slider and the black stroke around the round broders, its a solution to put the video as a background. However, if someone knows a way or has any hints to actually manipulate the video (slider) module, that would be great.
