    Hi all,

my first post in here, looking forward to more.

Before I throw myself off of a bridge, I thought that I would ask if anyone knows what's going on here. This is the situation.

I created a home page with three images set into a row. There is no margin or padding, the images align to each other. Everything is as I want it. See photo below.

Wanting to do the same thing on another page, I add the row to the library and bring it in. The images now have a huge gap between them.

So, I set about copy/pasting all of the settings, nothing changes.

If I copy the row and paste it into the first page, it works, but it won't work if I copy/paste into any other page. The spaces appear every where other that the first (home) page. All the images are the same original size.

Is there a page specific setting causing this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hugh

The spacing is the Gutter Width option. Just go to the Row Settings & set the Gutter Width to be 1.

    Hi,

    thanks for the reply.

Well, that solved it - and also confused me further. :)

I couldn't understand why copying over all of the row settings wouldn't address that. But I switched on the "Custom Gutter Width" and set it to 1. It did indeed close up the spacing.

But the home page does NOT have that setting and yet the images are side by side, as per the image below. Is there anything else, page specific, that would cause this?

I say "page specific" because the original row with no spacing works ONLY on the home page, but not on any other page that I paste it into. The images are butted up against each other, and yet when I pate the row anywhere other than the home page, a gap appears. In that case, there is no gutter adjustment made.

This made me believe that there were setting applying only to the home page. The only additional CSS used is to hide the top header and set a maximum size for images.

The issue is solved, but I am just trying to identify where I was going wrong and why it was driving me crazy, if that makes sense. It's an unsolved mystery! :)

I do REALLY appreciate your input - thank you.

    Hugh

You may check the Page Settings Gutter Width. See screenshot below:

Ah, that is exactly the issue! I hadn't realized that setting dialog box existed as yet.

I have no idea how one page was set differently, perhaps I did stumble across it and make the change, it's possible.

But the mystery is solved, and I feel so much more in control of things armed with this info.

    Thank you!!!!!

    Hugh
