Text on Border line with no background

    Hello,
    I have a client who wants a border around some text and then along the border he wants the person's name and the border to be broken where the person's name is. I have created the border and the name in separate modules, then given the name module a negative margin so it sits on the border but it sits under the border so that the line runs across the top and I can't remove it.

    Please help me solve this.

    It's just a z-index issue. For the name module, try to go to the Module settings > Advanced > Custom CSS > Main Element & add z-index: 10;

    If doesn't work, then try a higher value of z-index & see if it works.

    That worked and removed the top line of the border which he wants the border to appear on the left and right of the name.
    I made the name 29% width and the border to the left of the name reappeared but as I used padding to offset the name from the right of the screen I am having trouble getting the border to the right to reappear. He wants the name to be about 10percent of the screen from the right hand side and the border to break under the name only.

    In addition to the z-index, you still need to add position: relative; for the name module. Cause from my side, I still don't see any white background overlapping the line.

    As for your right padding issue, you should use margin instead. If you use right margin then the right border will reappear.

    That worked. The line was removing in visual editor before but not when I saved it but now it is working both ways. I can't seem to get the name to move to the right now.

    Try to go the name module settings & change the margin right settings to 10%.

    Have you tried to change the margin right of the name module?
