Solved Upgrade from Extra Theme

    Hi
    I am very impressed with the Magazine layout and was looking to upgrade from from the Elegant Themes Extra (Divi but a magazine layout).

    Has anyone had any experience of this upgrade path. The Extra theme uses a category builder to get posts displayed in the areas I want to use them.

    I have no experience with Divi so just wondered if it works in the same way?

    You can't just upgrade from Extra. You will need to re-built the pages in Divi.

    For Extra, it uses category builder. But for Divi, all the pages are built with Divi modules. For our premade Magazine layout, it's built with blog modules + other modules.

    Thanks for your reply. I realise I would have to re-build the home page but I am unsure if or how I can produce the home page layout which has all the different categories displayed in their own section?

    As you can see from our magazine homepage layout demo, basically it's using blog module, which can be set to show which category only.
